Can your good works save you?

Listen to Adrian Rogers.

Paul says in the book of Galatians,

if righteousness come by the law, Christ is dead in vain.

If you could be saved by being good,

pray tell why did Jesus die upon that cross?

He was crucified before the foundation of the world.

Why? God came to earth that we might go to heaven.

He became the son of man that we might go to heaven.

He became the son of man that we might become sons and daughters of God.

He was born of a virgin that we might be born again.

He carried my sin, your sin, our sin, to the cross. I want to ask you this question. If there were

some other way to heaven, don't you think God would have taken it?

anyone can understand and obtain it. In part one of today's message we learned that by

salvation we have peace with God and power over sin. We are given his presence

through the Holy Spirit and through the process of sanctification

we will be made perfect in God's sight.

To put it simply, salvation saves us and makes us perfect.
