If you are new or visiting, my name is John Mark Comer,

On that note, we are three weeks into our spring practice

on simplicity, which we use Richard Foster's definition

for as an inward reality that manifests

in an outward lifestyle.

Meaning, long before simplicity is about how many things

are in your closet, or living room, or kitchen,

it's about the interior architecture of your heart.

So we started off with a teaching on simplicity of heart,

and then last week was simplicity of speech,

and next up on the docket is simplicity of peril.

My wife was telling me the other day about how COVID-19

has forever changed the way we talk about pants.

Apparently, in our new normal of work from home

and kind of a waste up Zoom meeting,

leggings for women and sweats for men
