What comes to mind when you think about giving?

Do you think about doing nice things for others, like helping a neighbor shovel snow?

Perhaps you think about sharing, like splitting your snack with a friend, or it could be

you think about giving something away, like donating toys to children in need.

Well, giving is all of these things.

And today we'll hear four stories that highlight the many ways we can be generous to others.

I'm Rebecca Scher and welcome to Circle Round, where story time happens all the time.

This week to celebrate the season of giving, we bring you simple gifts, a special episode

revisiting some of your favorite Circle Round stories about generosity.

Our first story is from season one of Circle Round.

It's called the Answer You Seek.

Because of this folktale have been told for many years across many countries, our adaptation

comes from Thailand.

Some really great people came together to bring you this tale, including two favorites from

NPR, Wade Goodwin and Ari Shapiro.
