Using faith and facts to combat fear, here's today's big story on the Wally Show.

By now you've probably heard about the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti, a country that was

already in the midst of severe crisis from social unrest and COVID, but sometimes stories

like these get overshadowed by other events happening in the world, i.e. Afghanistan.

And so it's important to keep a light on Haiti to give them some relief because Afghanistan

is kind of above our pay grade right now.

We kind of have to sit back and watch and see what's going to happen.

But the people in Haiti need people like us to kind of get involved a little bit.

And Tennessee, Naomi Asaka, has actually pledged to donate the earnings from her next tournament

to relief efforts going on in Haiti, which I think is kind of cool.

Now, what is her tie to Haiti?

Okay, so she is part Japanese and part Haitian.

And so that's her kind of connection to the story as well.

And so, and she's a great player, obviously, she's one of the best in the world.
