another dad. Series 3 is bringing you dads. I can't believe it, I know. Today's guest

is an operations director for a consultancy firm, but you won't know him as that, probably.

You'll know him from Instagram and his hilarious posts, and the fact that he's just winning

book called Forever Out numbered, it is Simon Hooper known as Father of Daughters.

Fodd! Thank you for having me on. Thanks for coming. Did you like your introduction?

I did. It's really interesting, I think, hearing stuff from a dad's point of view, because

you don't always hear a dad's side. Well, that was the whole thinking behind my Instagram,

originally I used Instagram as the same way as many guys do, which is taking photos of holidays

or stuff that they like or cars or out of the lads for the night or whatever. Then I realized

it can be used for something else, because I was watching Clemmie build this community of

Mums online, and they were all talking about honest parenting. I thought this is great, but there's

zero dads voices involved at all, and I thought, well, I think I'm relatively funny in terms of

the way that I write as well, so maybe I could do something interesting and talk about honest parenting

from a dad's perspective, and that's where it all came from. The reason why you stand out,

why you are so far beyond, I guess, you are literally the standalone dad. Well apart from your

husband, he's a pop star, he doesn't really, you know, I like why you completely distressed in there,

yeah, he's a pop star, it doesn't matter. But you put, with your post, you've got so much care,

wit, detail, it feels like it's not throw away, it's thought provoking, it's turning those

mundane situations that we all face, and turning them into something hilarious for us all to,

yeah, well, I wanted to be able to laugh at our lives, because if you don't laugh sometimes,

you just end up curling up in a ball and dying under the stairs somewhere, you just want to cry,

...
