When a Jewish synagogue finishes reading the Torah together,

they end by throwing a big party.

It's called Simcat Torah.

And today on the podcast, Tim and I want to have a little celebration of our own,

because together with all of you, we've read the Torah.

We want to reflect on this reading journey we've had,

and we want to look forward and talk about how to continue to read the Hebrew Bible

through the prophets and the writings and the way that we've read it together.
