And it is a corker, because Hannah caught up with Tracy King to chat about

Tracy's incredible memoir Learning to Think. Tracy grew up in a house mired in

poverty but filled with creativity, curiosity and love although also marked by her father's

alcoholism and her mother's agrophobia. By the time she was 12 Tracy's father had been

killed her sister taken into care and a mother ensnared by the promises of

born again Christianity. In this chops Tracy Chuck Thaherd about how she went

from born again Christianity to pseudoscience to teaching herself to think critically and when she

applied that thinking to the violent death of her father she uncovered a whole other story from

the one she had been told. Incredible I did tell you. They're also talking about poverty, school

refusal and alcoholism. It is one hell of an interview. I mean come on how many chats start

with a child exorcism?
