Hello, Hannah here and welcome to this episode of Standard Issue,

where we three are picking some of our favorite gig casts for a section that we have completely originally titled A Blast From the Past. Discarded

suggestions include a Gefor from Before, Ye oldie Gigcasts, Ye might have missed, and Mammerly Lane, colon, funny women, we have convinced to come

on stage with us, comma, a retrospective. Now this one comes from way back in 2017. 2017, remember how young and beautiful I was then?

It stars The Boss obviously, Claudia Winkleman, Sharon

Horgan and Sandy Toxvig. And I've picked it for a few reasons.

Firstly, because it was Mick on hosting duties, so that

makes me look really bloody magnanimous. I don't need to tell you how great I am. We all know it. Instead I'm letting Mickey

God Blesser revel in the glory. But I mostly picked it because Father Christmas and

all his elves did you hear that lineup.

Mad though this sounds we've actually discussed if this gig wasn't actually too funny.

I mean Toxvick tells a story in which she called Sheila Hancock both

the loveliest woman in showbiz and a cunt. How are you supposed to not laugh at

that for the next 20 minutes?

Anyway, I hope you enjoy a re-listen as much as I did, or indeed a listen if you're new to this.

I know some of you are likely back at work so I hope this cheers up your day, although sympathies, being

back at work blows, although not as badly as being back at work and not being able to listen
