Tandow who you might also remember from Series 4 of the Great British Bake-Off.

If you haven't come across her work before, I should introduce her by saying that Ruby is an

absolutely remarkable voice in food writing and just writing about the world in general.

She's written two straight recipe books and she's also economist and she writes regularly

in The Guardian but her latest book is a bit different. It's called

Eat Up and it's described as a manifesto that celebrates the fun and pleasure in

food. And it's especially interesting because I feel like it flies in the face of a culture that's taken much of the pleasure and joy out of eating and made it complicated and stressful.
