I don't know what Mickey and Jen have decided to call these special podcasts, but I'm

going to go with a blast from the past.

And boy, is this one from the past?

We weren't even a podcast when we recorded this at the end of 2016.

So for the avoidance of any doubt, we are no longer an online magazine.

You can no longer read my column online and we haven't got any upcoming gigs to plug.

So why did I pick this one?

And by this one, I mean the gig in which I spoke to the boss, Sarah Millican, Joe Brand and

Kathy Burke.

Well firstly because it's pretty exciting because Sarah Millican, Joe Brand and Kathy Burke.

I mean, I always take the opportunity to hang out with Sarah when it presents itself.

And Joe, I'd actually met once before, but that didn't make me mean her again, any less

incredibly exciting.

And Kathy, well she entered the room and said, I'm sorry, I'm late, dot, dot, dot.

And I promise you, you could try for a thousand years and you'd never guess what she said

next. And I'll never tell you because I'm pretty sure no matter how Kathy Burke, Kathy

Burke is, it was still too Kathy Burke for public consumption.

The other reason I pick this gig is because of when it happened November the 20th, 2016,

which was smack bang in the middle of the worst few months of my life.

And I'm not being melodramatic here, both my parents were in hospital and I was pretty

sure that neither of them would make it to Christmas.

And sadly, I was half right, but I'm not telling you this to make you sad, but hopefully
