And I'm going to just say right here at the top that this isn't something I can even pretend to be

impartial about. Drugs policy or the war on drugs as it has been called has not helped in the

last century. In fact, there's a very good argument for saying that it's hindered. And in this

week's Chops, Jane Sorter of the campaign group Transform Drugs is making that exact good argument.
