We're about, I don't know, it's been a week almost, right?

Just six days since the Yankees got their butts kicked at Fenway Park and their season ended. And we have heard crickets, absolute silence, nada, Zippo from the Yankees organization.

Normally we get that season-ending press conference where Brian Cashman and Aaron Boone tell us how close this team is, how they're just one bounce away, and then they were going to be World Series champions.

That hasn't happened yet.

Did it happen the week after they lost last year?

Rich, I saw tweeted out,

Rich Kaufman said it happened five days after last year.

And obviously that they let it breathe.

This, because they ended on a Tuesday,

I thought maybe we'd get it Friday.

And when you do it on a Friday,

you kind of bury anything, right?

Like, because that's like PR 101, especially from the Yankees organization.

Like if it's going to be bad news and bad, and you're going to be fielding bad questions,

try and minimize the press conference as much as possible. So you do it on a Friday before a a long weekend because Monday's a holiday for many people in their jobs. And you got the NFL and everything like that and the MLB playoffs. Like I thought they'd just like slip it in at four o'clock on Friday afternoon and then just like gets buried in all the other crap. We haven't had it yet. I guess it depends on what you, you know, deem as bad news.
