podcast I'm your host most juror and I'm joined by David Lynch and Ben Bolkach and

we are going to be looking at some of the outer reaches of the Liverpool squad because well we're well

into trans first silly season as I'm sure you're all aware and any thoughts of a

quiet summer for Liverpool have been thrown right up in the air by Sadir Money, although when I say

suly season the idea of getting Sadir Money for 25 million is almost

ridiculous season, but I digress.

Liverpool gonna need a quality replacement, whoever that is.

And a lot of the rumors we're seeing around players such as Raffina and Darwin Nunez

of often involved throwing a few other players into the mix as make weights.

That's always one thing that you see at the end of the season,

players become transfer numbers and no longer become footballers, David.

It's a strange phenomenon, but it does seem to happen every year, but we always

assume that we can get the best valuation for anyone we sell, but it's never quite that simple, is it?

No, because I mean you know anyone you are willing to sell it I suppose you know you have to find a club that is willing to spend that on them I think you know at the end of the day if you're saying you don't want them or you don't need them anymore and you happen to move them on then you know any club who's interested who thinks they can do a job for them will sense that and they'll think well you know if they are willing to get rid

then we can drive the price down a little bit and that's you know this weird

dance that clubs have got to get involved in and negotiating positions they've got

set out and sometimes sort of telling fibs to journalists as well to sort of say well we desperately want to keep this player that they don't necessarily want to and things like that so it's yeah it's a bit of a weird game and yeah you can never

sort of predict a lot of it which makes things difficult but it's but yeah it's

always fascinating to follow and yeah there'll be there'll be some surprise deals to come I'm sure going both ways.
