Let's begin. So if you're reading Tara long enough, eventually you might come

across the word Significators in a tarot text and if you never heard of

them you might wonder what is a significator?

Well, a significator is a card that is consciously chosen to represent the questioner or a person that they are asking about.

Some tarot spreads require a significator,

but often they're optional.

You know, people often ask me,

are significators even necessary? Well, I like to think, like I said, they're optional. They're a matter of personal choice.

Some readers use them for every reading. I don't. You know, I have some spreads that I use where I feel that they are

important but mostly I like to assume that the right card will come up in the reading at that time that will represent the energy that the person is

transmitting or needing. So in other words, I always feel the proper significance is going to show up for you because you know at any time you could be the Queen of Swords or you could be the King of Pinnacles.

It depends on the situation, what you're asking, and again what energy you're

transmitting. So the best way to work with significantators is to kind of play around with them.

You know, you want to see if they make sense to you.

So for example, if you're doing a reading and maybe the spread requires a significator.

Pick the significator, see what makes sense, see how it feels.

And if you like working with them, of course, go ahead and add them to your readings.
