So last week I discuss what a significator is in Tarot and to recap.

A significator is a card that is consciously chosen to represent the questioner or a person they are asking about.

Now some tarot spreads may require a significator but often they are optional. Now today what I'm going to be talking about is how to choose

your significator based on elements and astrology and frankly this is my favorite

way to pick one. You can pick by appearance but I prefer this

method because I just think it's smarter and it makes more sense but you may choose a different method. Okay, so we're going to be talking about this via the court cards.

And by the way, I'm going to be speaking about picking majors as a

significator in the next episode. But right now we're only looking at the

courts. And the court cards are ideal for significators because, well because they represent people in a traditional tarot deck.

So the first step, you must determine which member of the court fits you or the questioner. Now a page would be a young person or a student. A

night would be someone who identifies as a young male. A queen would be someone who identifies as a woman and a king

would be someone who identifies as a mature male. Now I prefer that people pick the gender that makes the most sense to them.

And also, this is my belief. We can operate as a male or female at various times in our lives.

We can channel that energy really depending on what's going on with our lives at that time.
