Summary
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been ousted from power after 16 years in charge.
Leader of the centre-right party Peter Magyar held a victory rally late last night as his party is expected to win around two-thirds of the 199 seats in the Hungarian parliament.
A blockade on the Strait of Hormuz led by the US Navy is set to begin at 3pm UK time after peace talks between the US and Iran broke down.
