My name is Alex Schmidt and I'm not alone because I'm joined by my co-host Katie Golden.

Katie, what is your relationship to or opinion of sign language?

I'm, I'm, I'm wiggling my fingers around and I'm trying to see if Alex is fooled into

believing that I know how to do sign language.

Maybe I should not have said all of that out loud.

I wonder what Katie's scheme is.

I have no idea.

My headphones fell off for like a minute.

And I don't know.

I am actually deeply, deeply fascinated by sign language.

And it's one of my big regrets that when my brain was soft and spongy and pliable,

that I did not learn it in high school or

in elementary school because I think that it is, I mean, I did learn French, so who cares,

but like, but it seems like such a unique kind of a way to engage in language that I think is, it shows how adaptable and how plastic the brain is.

And it also, I think it kind of seems like something we should all learn to be honest.

I say this is someone who doesn't know it, right?
