And if you've got your scripture with you, I'd love for you just to open up to John chapter 9.

And this is an easy one.

You know, we've tried to summarize these chapters with a key word.

And I think probably all of us got to the same key word this morning.

But there's just a simple principle in this chapter.

You know, all these chapters are rich and you can take different turns.

And if you just jumped on board this morning and you're not sure what's going on,

we're studying the book of John, not like all 22 chapters at once.

But we did a chunk back in the summer.

We're doing a few more chapters now, taking just a chapter a week,

encouraging you to read along at home.

And I hope you're doing that.

In fact, can I just, I'll try and show a hand.

Just see how it works.

Some of you are reading along beforehand in the Gospel of John.

Okay, that's pretty good.

I'd love to encourage all of us to get on that wavelength.

Because the key, I think, one of the keys, two or three.

But one of the keys for Passion City Church is that you and I learned to study God's word for ourselves.

That sounds like a really simple thing to say this morning.

But I'm aware and you're aware of how few people actually ever open the word of God between Sundays.

And statistics say it's remarkably low number of people.
