Today's make-up is a request from Sienna. Sienna is five years old and she lives in Oakville, Canada.

Hi, my name is Sienna, and I'm five years old, we live in Oak Lake Canada and I would like a story

about a magical treasure box and a pirate and a parrot and two mermaids that are sister and an evil sea witch.

And I am five years old.

Once upon a time, a long time ago,

there were two mermaids named Sienna and Marina. They were sisters and they both loved the ocean,

but that was where their similarities ended. Sienna was quiet and studious, where Marina was bold and adventurous.

Sienna's hair was brownish red while Marina's was silver.

Their biggest difference, though, and the one that drove an almost immovable wedge between them

was in their beliefs about humans and about protecting the oceans.

Marina believed that humans were a terrible threat to the oceans and must be kept away at all costs.

That, Marina thought, was the best way to protect the ocean from threats that humans could bring,

things like plastic bags that could wrap around fish or get stuck in their bellies,

chemicals in sunscreen that damage coral reefs, and untreated

waste that contributes to overgrowth of algae that can block the light and disturb the balance

of the marine organisms. A skilled singer and a practitioner of sea magic, she used her voice

and her magic to make humans feel sad or frightened so that

they would not want to be near the ocean. Marina could use her water magic to send sea animals
