Hello and welcome to make-up. I'm your host, Amanda. We're looking for our first school class to make-up to submit a request for Maked-up stories.

Today we're continuing our story, Siena and the Sea Curse, which is a request from

Sienna in Oakville, Canada. We'll start with a quick recap and then jump right into the story.

A long time ago, an evil sea witch named Tenebra and her curse of darkness were sealed into a golden treasure box and buried deep beneath the

sea in Kanio Hipe, Hawaii, where it was eventually found by the pirate adventurer Captain Silas

and his trusty parrot squawk. Captain Silas, thinking that the box contained gold and jewels, opened it, accidentally unleashing the sea witch Tenebra and her curse of darkness.

Marina and Sienna, seeing that mermaid magic alone could not contain the curse, sent Captain Silas to the local university to get help from some ocean scientists.

Inside the research station, the scientists were immersed in their work.

A pair of researchers stood over a table filled with glass containers of seawater, studying samples under

powerful microscopes. One scientist recorded data on plankton levels, comparing growth patterns

between different water samples. Another researcher bent over a whiteboard mapping out coral

stress zones along Kaniohi Bay's reef system.

In the corner, a graduate student carefully sorted coral fragments into labeled bins, preparing

samples for genetic testing to track which strains were most resilient to environmental stress.

The room buzzed with quiet focus, the hum of equipment filling the air.

Suddenly the door burst open, and Captain Silas staggered inside, breathless and still dripping in seawater.

Papers fluttered as scientists turned toward the wide-eyed pirate.
