Hello and welcome to episode 175 of the SideQuest podcast. This week we'll be asking, is Starfield legit?

Who knows? Interesting headline. Is Starfield real? I mean, it's real. We see it. I thought that's what we

were watching. Briar has me thinking, second guessing myself with that question. I don't know.

I mean, okay, so we saw the Xbox conference and like the whole half last half of it was

Starfield, right? And they showed a lot and they showed a lot of interesting stuff. I thought,

you know, like the ship building I thought was really cool and how well you could customize your

ship, which then you live on, the fact that you can build bases and you can colonize places.

It looks like it's going to have a full featured story. I'll tell you the most worrying thing,

though, that I saw that whole thing was how much procedural generated content there's going to be.

And like how much of the by time is going to be spent just wandering around, picking up resources,

like just to upgrade a thing or, you know, I mean, like how much how much no man skies in this game?

I think right. And you know, I've watched quite a bit of it. I'm definitely missing some of the,

I didn't watch like every last detail of it yet. I was going to rewatch it. But, you know,

they make the golden path, right? So the main campaign and everything, which I think there were some

reports and how long that was. I wouldn't expect you to suffer any of that. Not really, right? Where

if you want to go out and venture into this world and we've seen this with Bethesda, there's

going to be lots to do. But yeah, I don't expect it to affect the core of it. But maybe if you're

doing a ton of side questing and then yeah, you run out of stuff and does resources become an

issue, but I don't have concern personally. No, you just like flat out excited.

Yeah. Have you pre-ordered the watch? Do you have the watch? No. No.
