Summary
New episodes of Holding Court return January 13th, but we need to sidebar for a minute about what happened this week....
It is the day after Black Americans helped the Democrats take back control of the Senate by winning both Senate seats in Georgia including the election of Rev. Raphael Warnock as the first Black Senator elected from that former slaveholder state. It is the day after the United States Congress, despite a violent insurrection by a mob of Trump loyalists, confirmed the electoral victory of Joe Biden as the next President of the United States, and the historic election of the first Black Woman as Vice President, Kamala Harris. So I wanted to connect with you today dear listeners and rejoice that today is a new day even while the work today and everyday from now on continues to make law & order mean justice for everyone not just the privileged.
