Welcome to another episode of Small Doses. As promised, I said that we were gonna continue the conversation with my very good friend and sister.

The board chair for a Planned Parenthood affiliates of California, Freedom Fighter, Christie Henderson,

and the board chair for the first time. Let me tell you how this conversation even happened. We were on the phone and both of us, we always start with how are you.

But you know, that's a pleasant tree right now that really is associated with like, how are you managing, right? And we both started just venting about all the things.

And I was like, what's going on, because when she vents, it's like very factual. It's still very factual. It's very quite a curse word.

Yes, and so I said, you know what, I would really love if it was possible to bring this conversation to my audience, because I know that you all are folks that are very action oriented.

And I also know that what's going on in terms of the way that laws are changing and specifically around Roe versus Wade is, it seems like an insurmountable issue.

And in many ways, it really is extending far beyond what a lot of us can imagine based on our knowledge base and endless a short call.

And so, I think that Christy just opened my mind and my eyes to the innumerable ways that it reverberates. And I know a lot of folks can tell themselves like, well, this really isn't my problem.

And I think that's something that is very convenient.

But once you know better, you do better. And so here we have Christy to help walk us through.

Not only some understanding what's actually taking place, not just what we think is taking place, but also ways in which we can be setting our sights on our best efforts to challenge that.
