This is a little taste of what you get. I just want to talk about the concept of if you're a white person working in a

black company that represents black culture, what is your responsibility?

Now of course, I believe that if you are calling yourself a black company that represents black culture

that there should be a certain level of responsibility with that anyway and of

course some folks just don't carry that flame.

But I really do believe it's very important.

And I get frustrated lately at seeing just how prevalent it is

that folks are not really doing that like they're just calling their stuff

something black because they want to reach a black audience but of course it's not just

because they feel like they need to have a certain obligation or responsibility to

that audience.

I think that's really important and I know that we'll see these pages on the

Instagram etc that we find out are actually curated by white people or owned by white people

and we feel some type away but to be honest

I don't think there's much of a difference when it's a page curated by black people that are

operating in the same fashion of not upholding any level of responsibility or obligation to considering how the content

that they're posting is going to be representative or going to affect black folks.

Mm-mm, a spoonful of sugar makes all that go down.
