Now, for some people that may seem like, okay, Amanda, you're being very dramatic.

Why is this so dramatic?

But I think for others, they understand that this metaverse has really wrapped us up.

It's really pulled a lot of us in in like a very real way.

And I think some of us don't admit to ourselves how real it is the way that it has wrapped us up.

And we tell ourselves, no, like, I mean, it's real, but like it's real.

It's in its own way.

You know, like it's the internet. It's in its own way. You know,

like, it's the internet. Like, it has its own rules. It has its own da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.

And we somehow have created this like false sense of etiquette about that space. We've also created a false sense of enablement in that space. There's a certain level of literal, complete lack of humanity and civility

that is decidedly acceptable within the internet's and within social media. And this is the

type of thing that used to really only exist in certain spaces, right? I remember there was like,

the dark web. And like that was where the people would go to be terrible people.

And then the dark web kind of like clawed itself out of the darkness coming out of the dark to then exist like in the Reddit space.

Right. So then people would be like, oh like Reddit is where people are just like so real. Oh my gosh.
