Small doesn't give a real, small doesn't give me an end.

So funky.

So I mean, I don't know if you all saw this episode coming, but it's here.

To all my people out there who know they black, but grew up talking like this.

And possibly still talk like this.

This episode is for you because we for quite some time have heard statements like,

you think you all like because you talk white or you ain't black.

Look at your top or you think you white.

Nope.

I just talk with the diction of an individual that was raised in a private white institution.

And that for a lot of us has to do with like being raised in the immigrant background or

maybe you were like the choking black kid in your neighborhood or maybe your parents

were like Republicans.

I mean, there's a number of reasons why this can happen.

But we're going to get into what it means to be a Oreo.

We're going to get into what it really means to be like, okay, why can someone say

that you're a Oreo like what is the bottom, the grit of that?

Because where does the blackness come out of that to make you say that somebody is black

on the outside and white in the middle?

And I'm even going to perform my poem Oreo that was featured in my first book,

Young Skin, Wise Mind, Old Soul, which I'm thinking about republishing.
