So this week on small doses podcast, I'm very happy to bring Dr. Connie one.

And I feel like admittedly, and I will say this to her as well, admittedly I have been, you know, just very focused, very clear and deliberate in where my spaces of

interests have been as in regards to, you know, just understanding American practices of

oppression and discrimination, specifically to black folks. And as my education has expanded and

my empathy has expanded, I have also actively sought out other perspectives. And Dr. Connie I is somebody who

was brought to my attention over the last year as somebody who was very dedicated to supporting

the anti-war efforts in Palestine. She's the co-founder of AAPI Women Lead, which is a organization that works

to basically bring community together and it's an intergenerational organization that is

very dedicated to working to end violence against Asian, Native Hawaiian,

and Pacific Islander women, girls,

and non-binary communities.

And I have heard, and been a part of, admittedly,

just dissension amongst the groups of black folks
