Kind of what were any big takeaways that you had from round one?

Yeah, I would say the initial big takeaway, and thank you both for having me on,

is that as

volatile as this course can be with just the tough bounces and the tough breaks and the tough

parts of the weather draw, which you may or may not caught the good side of, we still have

so many incredible players lingering at the top with, of course, Scotty Sheffler and Rory McElroy.

I mean, you pretty much name it. It's a who's who. Now, granted, there's some kind of random names here, too. But of course, you have the Matt Fitzpatrick's as well, who you'd expect to be good on Link-style courses. I think this really sets up over the course of, let's say, the next two days for us to have a final day where we have a lot of the biggest names in golf.

kind of played at least the first day you get your first real glimpse of it is there a specific

big name where the style of play kind of suits the course best yeah matt fitz Fitzpatrick. So here's how I do my bets, guys. I have generally week to week. I have three primary outrights that I do on my show, the early wedge, for example. And then I'll give out like one or two long shots. I'm talking like in the 100 to one range, pizza money range, you know, that kind of thing. My first outright was Anders Schoffley at 25 to 1. My second one was Matt Fitzpatrick at 55 to 1. And my third one, and I don't think this guy's out of it yet. He's plus one is Adam Scott, was Adam Scott at 75 to 1. And I absolutely love Matt Fitzpatrick for two reasons. One is, Jared, I think he's very well suited for link style courses, even though he says he doesn't love link style courses. I think he's well suited for it regardless, but also because of his form coming in, he has done everything ball striking and basically T to Green and with the short game that you would want in a golfer. The problem with Matt Fitzpatrick and the reason why his odds were so long is that he hasn't done it for a long enough period of time for people

to believe that he's actually back. So the fact that he is standing there in first place, oh, by the way, I had him as a first round leader, had to chop it five ways, still pays 11 to one. But the long story short here is guys like Matt Fitzpatrick, guys like Shane Lowry, of course the superstars like

Scotty Sheffler, Roy McElroy, those are the guys that are going to be able to sustain
