Today we'll be interviewing two dope screenwriters, my brother Sherman Payne and Shukree Tillman.

But before I get the Sherman and Shukree, I wanted to commend President Biden and Vice President Harris

on the passage of the American Rescue Plan. In case you missed it this past weekend, the Senate

passed President Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID rescue

package and it's a big deal.

It's a big deal because there's a lot in there that we've all said we need. If you're a single filer making up to

$80,000 or a household that files jointly and makes less than 160,000, a

figure that encompasses about 85% of Americans, you're getting $1,400 and an additional

$1,400 for each dependent.

It extends unemployment insurance through September 6th and provides $300 a week in addition to what your state provides.

There's also a dramatic expansion of the child tax credit for parents out there where most Americans will receive a tax credit of $3,000 for each child between 6 and 17 and 3,600 for each child between 0,000. six and

six hundred for each child between zero and six.

There's 350 billion dollars for state and local government

so that's money to keep our public employees

and our first responders paid.
