| 1:16.0 | I remember we talked about our weight no more program here at Focus on the Family. We got that going a few years ago. |
| 1:22.0 | And it's really to lift up the idea of engaging in the foster area and to get more Christian families involved. |
| 1:30.0 | And I remember we did the broadcast and I got home and Jean had heard it and she goes, well, we, if we're going to ask people to do it, we should do it. |
| 1:38.0 | And I was like, wait a minute, I was a foster kid. I already paid the price, man. |
| 1:42.0 | It just looked at me like, what? No way. If you're going to ask other people to do it, we've got to do it. |
| 1:48.0 | So we did. And it's been such an amazing journey. I think, you know, we were doing foster for about 10, 11 years. |
| 1:56.0 | We had, I think, probably, you know, 15 kids that came in and out of the house. |
| 2:00.0 | And two kids, particularly, were still engaged with them. They now live in Tennessee. But this past summer, we went to visit with them. |
| 2:08.0 | And we're kind of, we've become like their, you know, pseudo grandma and grandpa. So it's great, though. And it's been so rewarding. |
