DR, talking about the under-reported news this week. And I sit down and talk with Gregory

Washington, president of George Mason University, to discuss the issues that colleges are facing

as they reopen in this new reality.

And my advice for this week is to show up, but show up isn't enough. You gotta show up

and do something. That people talk about like being in the room is half the battle. And

it is true that it is hard to make an impact in a place you just refuse to go or won't

go or aren't there for whatever reason, right? Whether you're being there on the internet

or in person, I think that people confuse that as being all you gotta do.

Showing up is necessary, but not sufficient, right? You gotta show up to be immersed,

to have proximity, to understand. You also have to do once you show up. A lot of people

are quote, showing up and not really doing much else. Let's make sure that it's always

a both hand. Let's go.
