Thanks again for coming out. I like to start with something funny. A couple of years ago,

Houstonians had a terrible time evacuating for Hurricane Katrina.

So somebody sent me a new and improved Houston area evacuation plan.

In case of a hurricane, Hispanics are to take I-10 West to San Antonio.

Cajuns are to take I-10 east to Louisiana. Yankees are to take I-10 West to San Antonio. Cajuns are to take I-10 East to Louisiana. Yankees are to take I-45

North to Oklahoma, and Aggies are to take the 6-10 loop. Hold up your Bible. Say it like you mean it.

This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do.

Today I will be taught the word of God. I boldly confess, my mind is alert, my heart is receptive.

I will never be the same. In Jesus' name, God bless you. I want to talk to you today about showing honor. Everywhere we go, we should look for

opportunities to bring honor. In our conversations, in the way we treat people, at home, at work,

at the grocery store. As believers, we are carriers of honor. We have something to give. If you see someone doing a good

job, honor them by telling them what a great job they're doing. Recognize their accomplishments.

Give them credit in front of their colleagues. That's bringing honor. You're not just doing them a favor.

You're doing yourself a favor.

When you show honor, there is a commanded blessing that is released back into your own life.

Someone comes to the grocery line at the same time as you.
