Hey on fuckers and welcome to show notes for episode 65. Fuck you, Prager You. I'm your host and guide in this unfucking journey, Max, and I'm accompanied virtually today, as always, by the great and powerful 99.

The nation is, of course, still reeling from the spate of radical decisions handed

down from on high by the most conservative Supreme Court, certainly in my lifetime.

And I'd have to consult with court historians or unfuckers out there to identify a time

when this court was this blatantly ideological either way.

But here we are.

And of course, we're coming off yet another mass shooting, this time in the suburbs of Chicago,

by another young white male armed with a high-powered weapon.

You know, in a prior life, I worked in hospitality for a number of years, so holidays were just work days. So these days, I prefer to sit quietly on the sidelines, as was the case for the July 4th holiday

weekend. So I sat it out, just kind of minding the whereabouts of my children, mostly hanging

with my dogs during the fireworks and looking at the shit show that is America continued to unfold, even with the horrible news over the weekend.

So not much of a break from reality, sadly, and didn't really feel like partying or partaking in any of the revelry with the red, white, and blue.

So how about you, 99? Did you partake in any of the festivities, perhaps gazing upon the star-spangled

wonderfulness from your city rooftop?

Yeah, I mean, I can't say I had an America party, but I did watch the fireworks,

even though I don't agree with them because they're sad for all the dogs.

But I spent the day kind of reading and relaxing outside of my roof, which I had mostly

to myself until nightfall.
