Hey, welcome back to another guided prayer experience.

I'm Judah, and today we get to pray a very specific type of prayer.

We are invited in the New Testament to pray the prayer of guidance.

This is a prayer specifically for direction, for leading.

The scripture declares the steps of a righteous person are ordered by God to be a righteous

person. Simply means you've accepted the free gift of Jesus' sacrifice.

And that makes you right with God. So you don't earn it. You just accept it. And when you do,

what comes with it? direction leading nudging pointing

hinting wind at your back his words in your ear, this is the way.

Walk in it.

The scripture also declares you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the way.

Walk it out.

Take another step.

The scripture also declares that it's man that obsesses over the whole way.

You want to know the whole trip, all the steps.

But the scripture says, God, he will direct your next step.

So as we pray this prayer of guidance together, look for the hallmark of God,

his nudging for just the next step.

Guide me along the path, God,

because I trust you.
