A new study out of the University of Essex in England. Oh,

they say that they came to the conclusion that modern day parenting pressures and expectations

are keeping children from enjoying spontaneous play. There's no doubt that there is pressure on

parents to be good. And or you're going to feel that stink eye from the other parent that's,

you know, over parenting. Right. I've definitely used to take my kids to this little kid Jim.

Actually, I did it mostly with I love because then the pandemic kind of yeah, yeah, took some good

gym years out. But I would take her and be like, go play. And I would sit in the corner or even

go out to the van and just watch videos and read and wait. They're every kid out there, though,

how to parent with them out on the plate area. Oh, not just ringing the play. No, they're in

there with them, like keeping an eye on them. And I just thought that is not good for them. So

that's my opinion. I'm sure other people are like, what if this kid cracks his head? I need to be

right there to rush him to the yard. All right. Right. Well, I suppose. I mean, if that does happen,

I know for sure. And Christina's even said she doesn't want to be hurt. She says her mom was

very overbearing. Yes. So she doesn't want to be that. I've heard that. But she is that.

She's absolutely she can't help it. I'm like, they're so precious to come up to me. All

their precious to me too. But I'm they come up and go, can I go out and play? Yeah. Yeah.

Go play. I'm not saying that they're not precious to you. I'm saying that she's now feeling what

her mom felt. Like I think we're we're in many ways. We are a product of the way our moms

felt about us and the way that they let us play and the way that they the lessons that they

thought were important. I don't know. Maybe not. You know, what do they say that you go? Maybe

you go the opposite direction when you're sometimes like I've never ever gotten anywhere near spanking
