Tix season is in full swing in parts of the Bay Area.

This came up this morning and I saw this story story and went oh we got to talk about

it season is in full swing they say that because of the extra rainy couple

years we've had there's even more ticks than usual. So one of the important things

they're mentioning here... Linda Yampa. Oh Linda Yampa. Executive director of the Bay Area Lyme

Foundation said ticks thrive in wet conditions and our rainy season

extending into May probably will bring about a very big tick season.

I think it's still rainy season.

I've, this whole week I've had my windshield wipers on.

Yeah.

And crazy!

They like moist, more foggy areas. They like wooded leafy areas.

So that's something to consider as we're starting to, know winter's over the rain has passed it's

mostly past it's time to get out and hike check yourself and your dog it's one of

those weird things where you just really, unless it crosses your sight line,

you wouldn't think about ticks.
