The next one in three Americans story is...

One in three Americans can't afford their summer plans.

Oh, well, it's one of those things where, especially if you've got kids, everyone realizes this is one of those, I didn't know this until you had, so I had some kids. I thought summer meant the

parents are home free they don't have to drive the kids to school anymore

and everybody's you know but parents clearly feel like they've got to find stuff for their kids to do.

As do I. You realize like, oh yeah, I guess nothing good came out of letting the kids roam around all summer with, you know, a new $5 bill each day.

I actually liked that about my childhood.

You know, I knew every play, you know, 10 mile radius in my house, I could get you there using the power lines

and the forests and I liked it I didn't think you looked like in a city it was it

was I had great time I just I think now there's pressure on parents to entertain the

kids yes keep them busy well it's you don't turn them loose into the

neighborhood anymore I want to go surfing all the time.

On a bus or I'd go to the skate park or go to a skate ramp or whatever and I had no
