More students are choosing skilled trades over college.

That's interesting.

Me too.

While the traditional step after high school has been a college or four-year university,

Gen Z is looking to shake things up, picking skilled trades over pricey degrees. I don't know that

this is the way I would suggest ideally that I would say, why not get your degree and then go to a trade school if that's what you're in do?

But if you're going to leave with $200,000 in debt, then

well, maybe you work toward it.

You can get a college degree without going $200,000 deep.

You certainly can do that.

That's true. You can do community college and get a degree that's valuable and gives you some

and gives you some time to sort of look around one of the issues I think that comes

up out of colleges people will say I went to go to school to become a teacher and I'm broke and I'm

pissed about it and I want to go do something else now well ideally you'd think

someone there at the school would have discussed with them what the pay

range is for their chosen field and at some point that would have...
