And no matter where you are in this great wide world, hopefully you had a little time to find some geocaches with friends, family, complete strangers.

This last week, we had the chance to have dinner with a few of my college friends. Hadn't seen them in a while. It's been a while. Yeah, but it's always fun. I mean, college was a long time ago. I won't tell you how many years ago. But, yeah, it's fun. And we actually chatted a little bit about geocaching. They knew it's something we did, but they weren't. Didn't really totally understand what it was about.

it didn't surprise me. You know what I mean? Like in 2001, 2002, when I got into it and I was telling people about it. I mean, that was one of the lectures I would give, actually, at a lot of

educational tech conferences was about geocaching, and people were excited about it because

it was like a new thing. You know, the release of the, what is it called availability select availability right when that was

shut down then it was like a big thing you know those GPS remember those GPS receivers they

were dedicated for the car the Magellons and stuff I don't know if anybody still uses those

yeah but it was a big thing you you know, GPS use and all that. But what surprises me is now people still like, what is geocatching?
