And I went welcome to the political party. This episode features Lord Andrew Cooper, founder

0:19.6

of Populous, all-round polling guru and expert, posted to the Remain campaign, David Cameron's

0:26.2

former head of strategy and he was absolutely brilliant. There are times when it's doing these

0:34.8

shows, it's like having, it's like being on, I was thinking of this and I'm sure of

0:39.5

using this in an energy before, but it's not being on the best university course in the world

0:43.4

because it's me leading political figures and just asking whatever I want and they get,

0:51.8

I mean, Andrew was out of this world good. It's a brilliant insight into polling, into

0:59.7

I suppose why mistakes are made and how they're made, how hard it is to actually know whether people

1:05.8

are going to vote or how they're going to vote. It's brilliant and there are so many lessons

1:10.1

1:38.2

is spent listening to the public. So even obsessives like me get so much from the media, but Andrew is

1:46.5

deeply involved on a regular basis on a range of issues, I've talked to the public, there's

1:52.3

some brilliant stories that come out of it and also quite apart from anything else, his own politics,

1:58.5

his own political journey and huge social changes that are happening here in America that are

2:05.4

hugely relevant. It is, I really felt like I thought, you know what? I didn't go to private school,

2:14.2

but this is the sort of conversation that you money can't buy. It was almost like I'm in the best

2:20.6

teacher in the world and someone who's really done it, I came away from it so thrilled.

2:29.2

Which is really important because obviously politics at the moment is in a particular state.

2:34.3

I mean, I think even if you voted, whichever way you voted, even if you don't vote, although I
