Today's guest is Hillary Cass,

Baroness Cass, author of course, of the Cast Review Intergender Identity Services

for Children in England.

Obviously a landmark report that had wide-ranging implications.

We talk about that, about the experience of publishing that report, working on it,

what it meant her experience in investigating all this stuff. And she's got a phenomenal brain, Hillary,

and she's so good at,

she's got that sort of, that clinician's brain,

so able to describe things,

a fact, you know, as a medic would,

but also able to put things in a broader societal context.

So she's got just a really good take on stuff.

And we don't just talk about the Castro view. We talk about social media for under 16s and why

she supports a ban. And just how her life has gone. You know, she starts off as a, as a pediatrician

and ends up in the House of Lords ends up publishing this landmark report.

It's not a life she would have necessarily seen for herself when she started out as a medical

practitioner. So it's just an interesting trajectory of a life and, you know, it's a cool thing,

how things can happen in your life and take you in different directions in your career.

And her experience in the House of Lords, it's just jam-packed with stuff so I think you'll
