Hello and welcome to the political party. Today's guest is Nick Clegg. This was recorded live at the Duchess Theatre and this is absolutely phenomenal. Nick is on absolutely top form. And it's great because he's been powerful in two

places in the United Kingdom, in the government, but also over in Silicon Valley and his insights

into Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, tech bros, everything that's happening over there are phenomenal.

And he's such a great storyteller. He's really funny.

So this is just, this is really therapeutic.

This is just a great entertaining hour or so in the company of a central left politician

who's just letting it all flow and it is absolutely top class.

Before I come on to that, my next guest at the political party, I won't be able to announce

um, of course, I had to begin with a bit of stand-up about the last couple of weeks,

a crazy couple of weeks in politics.

A big day today, obviously. The Prime Minister Keir Stama was at the McLaren F1 headquarters in Woking following their Formula One win yesterday. And I don't really follow the motor race.

I know that Lando Norris, the British racing driver, one Formula One. It like a big deal to me. It felt like a big, happy story. And then you see Kirstarmer. At the headquarters of this team, that this guy's never won the F1 before. And he's there going, but of course it takes great skill to make it a hard. Keep it fucking life. Meet people who work very hard.

They didn't go to university, but the work they did.

You're making this feel so sad.

These people have just achieved, like the biggest thing.
