Today's guest is former First Minister of Scotland, Jack McConnell, and this is absolutely phenomenal.

And this is politics at every level. I didn't realize he'd been a

local authority leader at 29 and we talk about that and he was already pretty politically experienced

at that point. He joined the SMP at 16, but also there's amazing stuff here about when he was

first minister at that meeting at Glen Eagles, whereas with Bush and Putin,

and his stories about those two are incredible. I mean, this is just phenomenal, but there's a

whole load of stuff about devolution and Scottish politics, UK. It's just, it's everything.

He is such an impressive guy, and this flew by. So hopefully he'll come on again in the future.

It was just so good.

The G2, I can't remember if it was G8 or G20, but the Glenn Eagles meeting with Putin and Bush and all that.

It is just out of this world.

He's obviously got out of Silicon Valley. I think it's fair to say he was concerned about Silicon Valley's relationship with Trump. So this will be a fascinating insight into just the power moves over there and how meta and all these other social media and tech and AI companies are influencing the world, particularly through American politics, but what it means for our politics here.

I mean, that's just, he's had two incredible careers, and it'll be fantastic to talk to him
