0:12.8	Today's guest is Sam Carling, the MP for Northwest Cambridgeshire.
0:16.9	He's 22 years old.
0:18.6	He gets asked this all the time.
0:20.1	Of course I ask him about it, and I immediately feel bad for asking him about it.
0:24.1	But it is interesting.
0:25.1	We don't dwell on it because he's exceptionally bright, and he's a member of parliament.
0:29.5	There are more interesting things to talk to him about.
0:32.2	But this is fascinating.
0:36.0	Not really so much as, you know,
0:39.5	what's it like being a young person in Parliament,
0:41.0	but just he's clearly so very bright.
0:43.7	So it's obvious what he's doing in Parliament.
0:46.1	But just what's amazing about it really, I guess more is,
0:50.7	how recently he was politicised.
0:52.2	Now obviously, that's fairly obvious obvious given that he's 22.
0:56.4	But to go from being politicised as a result of the handling of the pandemic to then being a
1:02.8	member of parliament a few years later would be amazing anyway, particularly if you were politicised
1:08.0	when you're doing your exams. So this is phenomenal and Sam is so impressive.
1:12.2	And before I play this interview with Sam,
1:14.8	just a reminder that the political party is returning to the stage,
1:18.2	which is the last bit of work that I'm able to go back to.
