Today's guest is Joanna Cherry,

and this was recorded live at the Edinburgh Festival,

and this is an absolute corker.

Joanna has been on the show before, exceptionally talented, has had two incredible careers,

both in law and in politics, and is a formidable politician.

And this was recorded days after Nicholas Sturgeon's book came out and after

Nicholas Sturgeon's ITV interview was broadcast.

So we talk a lot about that and about a lot of the details of it.

And as you can imagine, Joanna does not hold back in her opinion of predominantly

Nicholas Sturgeon's political legacy. That's what it really focuses on.

But this is really funny as well.

But my word, this is just an incredible real inside account of what being a leading SMP politician who wasn't an ally of Sturgeon has been like and the personal cost of that and being on

the receiving end of all that entails and the sort of thwarting of political ambition as well as the

abuse and the denigration that goes with it so So this is, it's an incredible interview.
