Hello and welcome to the political party today's guest is Tom Baldwin and this is

another fresh brand new episode. Tom has just written a book you may have heard of

it Kieer Star with the biography and it is a cracking read and we talk about that and I've put a link to

it should you want to buy it that you can just click on and buy obviously I am a

fan of political biographies I have bookcases and shelves heaving with political biographies and this is a

fantastic addition to those to those shelves it's a cracking read and Tom himself

has had a fascinating career as a

first year as a political journalist for the times,

then working for Ed Miliband as a political advisor,

then advising the People's Vote campaign

before writing this biography of Kiest Starmer. The book itself has an

interest in story. This was meant to be Kiea Starmer's autobiography, the one that

he announced a while ago, but he effectively Kaiboshed it and Tom picked up the project really after meeting

Kistammer in the pub and decided to write a biography instead instead of it being Kair Starmer's work.

So the genesis of the book is interesting, but also Tom finding out about Kair Starmer and what is

fantastic about the book is you learn a lot of stuff that even those

of us who are politically obsessed that devour these sorts of things ahead of interviewing

people like Kiastama and just take all this stuff in all the time

and you think you've heard everything there is to hear about a person, well we've barely scratched

the surface. So there is a lot of new stuff in there and it just gives Tom a unique perspective on the leader of the Labour Party and what he's like and his life story and how it shaped him.

It's brilliant. So I will stop waffling on and I will well. Let's enjoy a brilliant
