Hello and welcome to the Political Party. Today's guest is Harry Cole, the political editor

of the Sun. So, Jobby's had for three years, he's still only in his 30s and this is such

an entertaining account of what it's like to work at a modern British tabloid and everything

that goes along with it. Before I come on to that, I can announce some new guests. I'll

the day that Nicholas Durgeon resigned. So, we talk about that a little bit at the start

and the implications for Harry and for political editors at tabloids and newspapers and what

it means today like that and how the Sun in Scotland differs from the UK version of

the Sun and all that type of thing. But the main conversation is about being a political

editor, but also he is just a complete political obsessive and you'll be aware of him from

his previous work at Guido and maybe even some of you total obsessive will remember

Tory bear as I did his initial blog. But really it's a defence of enjoying politics and

everything that goes with it and the story about the individuals and it really is about

seeing politics about how you tell and he'll come onto this. But basically how you tell

the stories about policy through individuals and also just about the next election and

who the Sun is going to support and why that's such a big deal and how the Sun's influence

...
