Hello and welcome to the political party. This episode features Tom Tugan hat, the chair

of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee. Now, it's been on the show before but never done

one of the live shows. So I was so excited to interview Tom in front of an audience because

as well as being very thoughtful and my God, a man of such gravity. I mean, he looks younger

than he is. He's in his 40s but he has such a heart and soul about him and clearly

becomes moved when he's talking about things that he cares about, which is a lot of things.

And as I managed served in Iraq and Afghanistan, I managed chairs the Foreign Affairs Select

Committee, a man who is absolutely vigilant about the effects of Russia and the influence

of Russia in our politics. This is a time that is clearly very close to the surface

of the system but he articulates his politics in a particular way. So many people afterwards

talking to me about it. But before we come on to that, future guests have been announced

in two weeks. Well, listen to me. So we come Monday, James Clevverly is back on the show.

I've not had James on for years. He is a barrel of laughs. He's brilliant. He also served

in the Armed Forces. He's now a foreign office minister. So fantastic time to be talking
