He's also a shadow foreign office minister, but he's here today to talk about his new group Labour Renaisont

and their brilliant report about reconnecting Labour with the voters that they've lost.

It's a fantastic analysis of where Labour has gone wrong, but it also provides some pragmatic and concrete advice about what Labour needs to do to get back into government.

And we talk about that in some detail. Before that though, I'm so sorry that there hasn't been an episode for a couple of weeks. I've not been very well.

Thank you for all your messages about it. It wasn't COVID. Thank God I was testing myself. I mean, it felt like I had all the symptoms of COVID.

But I had tested negative throughout and feel a lot better now. So thank God for that. But I'm just so sorry that I wasn't able to do the live event last Monday with Caroline Flynn.

I was so excited about it. I've never interviewed Caroline before. I know a lot of you were very excited, but you can transfer those tickets to a future show.

And what better one than this coming Monday, the 8th of November with the leader of Scottish Labour, Anna Sawa.

And I saw Nigel Farage. He was wearing a tweet jacket, a plattered shirt with some old boys tie and a pair of 30 year old cords.

I mean, Max, I don't know how you were able to carbon date for Arches trousers, but well done.

I might tell the rest of the story because it involves Max going up to Nigel Farage and saying a rude word to him, which of course we do not condone on this show.
