long listen. I know by usual podcast standards these episodes are probably quite long anyway,

but on the back of Louise Casey, it was two hours. Here's David Owen with a good hour and a half

at the very least and every single second of it is brilliant because of course it is. What an amazing

guest, what an amazing person to be able to sit down with and pick his brain. More on that in a

is people embarrassing themselves in front of politicians or politicians embarrassing themselves

in front of you or just seeing them in strange places. Simon's been in touch. He says there's a

sporadic listener who then catches up in binge listening sessions. I don't think binge listening is as

bad a fear health as binge drinking Simon, so you're probably fine and I do that with a podcast

highlight as well. He said I've just heard you've been doing politicians on holiday, politicians

embarrassing stories and I think I have a story that crosses both in February 1997, myself then 12

and my sister Harriet and then 10 and brother Miles and eight would do to be taking our first holiday

on a plane which would have been considerably less stressful for my more poor mum had airs in

barbedway not gone on strike a few days before we would do to leave. Consequently the airline put us

up in a five star hotel in Gatwick where we spent the day running around like maniacs, misbehaving

in the swimming pool and riding the train backwards and forwards between the North and South terminals

at a time. Simon I would still love to do that now. It says it was quite possibly the best 36 hours

of a young lives although I'm not sure I can say the same for the other Clown tell who'd pay good

money to avoid this sort of raucousness. Simon you should write dramas you're a great writer of drama
